This October, global music and culture platform Boiler Room will launch their new festival, a celebration of underground music and DIY culture. Taking place across four days, with each day focusing on a different underground scene (jazz, rap, bass, club), the festival will bring together some of the most essential and authentic voices from their respective scenes. Boiler Room will stream their inaugural event with no headliners and stage line-ups and will aim to push the boundaries of the conventional festival format and its not something to be missed.

SUPERCALI-FRAGILISTIC-EXPI-ALI-DOCIOUS, that'd be my word of choice if I had to choose one word to describe the last ever Cocoon In The Park, as it was exactly that. It was as if Mary Poppins herself had made an appearance, taken the artists’ USBs & record boxes and replaced them with her own. The music was that damn good!

Priceless summer days... 26 - 30 June sees a great celebration for Jazz music in Lviv, Ukraine. Leopolis Jazz Fest is a brilliant 5 day showcase of the genre with live performances, workshops, jazz-themed lm screenings, street music acts, a fairground and more. With over 100,000 international visitors each year, the annual event is famed as one of the best jazz festivals in Europe.

This year’s festival has a jam-packed programme with tremendous artists across three stages: the Eddie Rosner stage, Rynok Square and Pototsky Palace yard. Acts will include Peter Cincotti, Adrien Brandeis Quintet, Claudia Campagnol, Month of Sundays, Pokaz Trio and LosSamos. Street music artists will also get the chance to shine, with open-air auditions prior to the event, concerts will present the best local talent as chosen by the public.
